Patrick Flannery
News businessRental equipment supplier Atlas Copco has opened a new service centre and storage office in Varennes, Que., a suburb of Montreal, according to national service manager, Tristan Waldock. The new facility measures 8,000 square feet and features an expanded yard. Atlas Copco will hold parts for all its equipment there and dispatch new machine orders and service from the location.
“We see a lot of potential in the high-pressure air market there and the rental market,” Waldock explained. “We need to start pushing hard in Quebec with more feet on the street. With Montreal being a port and a lot of stuff coming in from Europe, it is perfect.”
