Dec. 22, 2009 – Linamar Corporation has announced that Steve Shaughnessy has been appointed President of Skyjack, Inc, a Linamar subsidiary.

Dec. 22, 2009 – Linamar Corporation has announced that Steve Shaughnessy has been appointed President of Skyjack, Inc, a Linamar subsidiary. Shaughnessy, an equipment industry veteran with more than 30 years experience in the aerial lift and crane business, will be succeeding Ken McDougall, who has been given the responsibility for running Linamar’s Powertrain Mexico operations.
 
In his most recent role, Shaughnessy, a native of Boston, MA, ran the UK subsidiary of Loxam, the French group, which is the leader in the European rental industry. His other experience includes running his family’s aerial lift rental business in New England; Regional Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of NES; and Managing Director of Ashtead Plant Hire’s Specialist Equipment businesses in the United Kingdom. He is
currently a Board Member and Deputy President of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), the leading association for the promotion of the safe and effective use of aerial work platforms throughout the world.
