Solutions By Computer’s Enfinity Release 3.0 to launch with new customer-facing capabilities

Dec. 23, 2010 – Solutions by Computer (SBC) has announced plans to unveil the latest Enfinity for Windows software developments for the rental industry at The Rental Show in Las Vegas in February.

Enfinity Release 3.0 introduces a range of rental-savvy features that ensure convenience and accuracy during the customer service process. New capabilities for tool, equipment, event and specialty rental operations include:

Pull for Delivery – When large orders are staged for delivery, Enfinity produces notification of last-minute order changes that happen after the pulling begins: a key way to ensure that complex orders are staged accurately, without expensive ³fixes² later on.

Assemblies – This special kit is designed to bundle rental items that are often, but not always, combined into a single rentable unit. A common example is a generator six-pack where six generators are rented together as one item, but need to be tracked individually for maintenance purposes.

Physical Inventory-taking – Release 3.0 allows physical inventory-taking while the rental store is open for business. Enfinity automatically adjusts inventory counts for transactions in progress without disrupting the flow of customer service operations, reducing after-hours labor costs and addressing the unique challenge of counting rental inventory in flux.

Operational Enhancements – Additional new capabilities extend operational efficiency in the areas of emailed documents, transaction printing, reservation-stage revenues, on-screen shortcuts and more.
