Solutions by Computer has introduced a new capability for its Enfinity rental management system that makes it easy to capture commitments from customers who are not physically present. Enfinity e-Sign is an electronic signature capability that can be used to confirm deliveries, process rental contracts and execute other documents over the Internet. Enfinity’s e-Sign functionality offers complete end-to-end signature tracking from the rental business to the customer’s handheld device or desktop system. The system emails a link to customers who aren't physically present when the contract is created. Contract terms, items and rates are reviewed and agreed to by the customer online. The customer indicates agreement by signing electronically using the link supplied. The executed contract is stored off site, with copies distributed via email to the customer and rental store. It is designed to be fast, efficient and convenient for both the customer and rental staff. E-Sign works with any mobile or desktop device that has an Internet browser. No special software or registration process is needed. The signatures collected are legally binding and secure.
