Lackmond appoints new vice president of marketing

Sept. 22, 2014 - Lackmond Products Inc. has named Ted Skaff, former Director of Marketing for Pearlman Group (Pearl Abrasive Co. and GranQuartz), as Vice President of Marketing. Overseeing the firm’s marketing and new business department, Ted will lead strategic growth initiatives within the United States, Canada and Latin America.

Cliff Sallis, President, Lackmond Products, Inc. said, “We are excited to have Ted Skaff join the Lackmond Team. His extensive experience and expertise in the construction, industrial and stone markets will allow us to accelerate our leading marketing programs while focusing on building our brand and expanding our product offerings.
Prior to Lackmond Products Inc., Ted worked at the Pearlman Group as their Director of Marketing. During his 19 year tenure at the Pearlman Group – a leading supplier and manufacturer of Tile, Stone, and concrete related products – Ted was responsible for development and execution of the company's marketing strategy — including branding, customer experience, public relations and customer acquisition and retention initiatives.

Ted holds a B.S. Degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He is presently the Vice Chair of the Safety committee for the Marble Institute of America (MIA).
