Brantford UR becomes specialty location

Sept. 3, 2014 – United Rentals' Brantford, Ont., location has been transitioned to a specialty Trench Safety location focusing on rentals of crossing plates, shoring, shielding, rail systems, braces and other equipment for working safely in excavated areas and confined spaces. In addition, United says experienced staff are on hand to assist construction engineers and contractors with expert advice on trench safety equipment.

The Brantford location made the move from general rentals in the spring. The location is managed from United's Bolton, Ont., store, though company officials say they are seeking an onsite manager. The Brantford Trench Safety location has seven employees.
