Western Canada Lift enters market
Patrick Flannery
News Mergers, acquisitions, entries and exitsWestern Canada Lift Supply is a new provider of new and used lift equipment based in Vancouver, B.C. The company was launched this month by John Adcock, formerly of Leavitt Machinery. Western Canada Lift will represent major manufacturers for new lift sales and carry a variety of used equipment for sale and re-rental across B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

“We’re taking a different approach that will bridge the gap between two kinds of equipment buyers,” Adcock says. “There’s the customer that wants to buy online in the comfort of their own home without seeing anyone, and there is a customer that is willing to drive four hours to kick the tires before they decide on a machine. We’re looking to partner with quality rental, service, parts and transportation providers throughout Western Canada that can handle both”
Adcock says he’s looking to add to his 35 independent rental partners who want to take advantage of his flexible fleet supply solutions. He describes his model as the “Amazonification” of the rental fleet supply chain.
