April 21, 2015 - Wabash Power is currently furnishing its 7th portable boiler room, or Mobile Steam Plant, to enhance its large fleet of rental boilers.

Mobile Steam Plants from Wabash come complete with an 800 BHP Cleaver Brooks firetube boiler with a saturated stea m capacity of up to 27,600 PPH, a deaerator, dual tank softener system, chemical feed system, piping, and controls all installed in a shipping container. Each unit is fully wired and insulated allowing customers to minimize installation time and capital. In addition, every Mobile Steam Plant achieves NOx emissions of 30 ppm or less.

Michael Pfeiler, VP of Sales and Marketing, explains how Wabash Power has been able to remain ahead of the curve. “While our customers are typically looking for larger steam capacities and high pressures, we felt we needed to improve on our ability to support the light industrial, commercial and municipal end users. Wabash Power’s engineering team worked for over a year before rolling out our first Mobile Steam Plant. We wanted to make sure that our fleet had the same robust design as our larger industrial rental packages. Our equipment has proven to be quickly accepted by our customers, and they are renting them as fast as we can build them.”

Mobile Steam Plants from Wabash are designed with the end user’s convenience in mind. All units are laid out to support operational and maintenance requirements. With the increased demand of temporary steam plant users including hospitals, universities, utilities, industrial plants, and oil terminals, customers will find that Mobile Steam Plants from Wabash are both a practical and cost efficient solution.
