Ontario shutting down commercial construction

News Government and regulatory construction coronavirus covid essential Ontario rentalOntario updated its list of essential services allowed to operate today, removing over 30 categories. Equipment rental remains on the list. Private sector commercial and industrial construction is ordered to cease by noon April 4, except for specific activities critical to maintaining health care, transportation, utilities and government operations. Residential construction with a permit is allowed to go forward, as are renovations already in progress.
