Guelph, Ont.’s, Skyjack made quite a splash by having a flash mob complete with a New Orleans-style band parade through the show floor up to their booth where they introduced a telescopic boom lift which reaches over 80 feet. There were plenty of new products on the show floor with many exhibitors introducing additions to their lines.

Unfortunately for Frost Fire, their 20-by-20-foot booth space was empty as their booth products were stuck in transit. Doug Johnson hoped to have his equipment on display in time for today’s opening.

The show closed on Monday with all of the regions hosting their receptions. Canada, which is region 10, handed out its awards. The President’s Image Award was awarded to the Rent It store from Saskatoon, with Doran Broadfoot accepting. The Canadian Rental Association National Supplier of the Year was given to Rentquip Canada. The CRA Rental Person of the Year was awarded to two recipients: Jeff Campbell of St. Thomas Rent-All and Paul Kenyon of Absolute Location Support Services. There were two other awards with the Quebec local award going to Yvan Boilard of Atlas Copco and the Alberta local award going to Marc Mandin of 4-Way Equipment Rentals.
