L.M. Temperature Control kicks off its holiday toy and food drive

Temperature Control , a Canadian leader in the rental and sales of climate control and power equipment, has launched its Christmas Food and Toy Drive. “Christmas is a time for giving and to help those in our community,” said Luis Salazar, president and owner of LMTC, “and we want to do what we can to help make Christmas better for those in need in our community.”

Nov. 22, 2013 – L.M. Temperature Control , a Canadian leader in the rental and sales of climate control and power equipment, has launched its Christmas Food and Toy Drive. “Christmas is a time for giving and to help those in our community,” said Luis Salazar, president and owner of LMTC, “and we want to do what we can to help make Christmas better for those in need in our community.”

L.M. Temperature encourages suppliers, customers, fellow companies and individuals to participate in the drive and is committed to matching all incoming donations, dollar for dollar and pound for pound. Toy donations will be forwarded to the Salvation Army for distribution. Items most in need for this drive are gifts for boys and girls ages 10-14 years old such as movie gift certificates, toiletry bags, hockey jerseys, family games, curling irons, hair straighteners, and blow dryers. Food donations will be forwarded to the Mississauga Food Bank to support the 59,000 monthly visits for people in need. Items most in need are peanut butter, canned ham, tuna  and salmon, canned fruit, boxed macaroni and cheese dinners and boxes of rice.

L.M. Temperature is asking for donations to arrive no later than December 13 so they may be sorted and delivered in time for Christmas.  Donations picked up from your location or they can be dropped off at the LMTC office at 217 Statesman Drive in Mississauga, Ont..
