Airtex Manufacturing Partnership operating as Engineered Air (based in Calgary) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Campo Equipment, located in Brampton, Ont. Campo Equipment is a leading manufacturer of portable heating solutions for the construction, industrial, oil/gas, mining, event, disaster recovery industries and more. Campo Equipment manufactures a complete line of indirect (oil/NG/LP), electric, makeup air and self-contained units.

Engineered Air is one of North America’s leading manufacturers of custom heating, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, energy recovery, heat transfer, and clean room solutions serving commercial and industrial markets.

David Taylor, president of Airtex, is very excited by this acquisition and what it will mean for the shared company’s future growth. “Engineered Air and Campo are family-run companies sharing aligned business policies of providing high-quality products to our customers and supporting these customers with after-sales service. The purchase of Campo expands Engineered Air’s sales reach into markets we do not currently compete in.  Our go-forward strategy will be for Campo to continue providing its core products with a systematic process of introducing new products that will meet the future needs of our customers.  We look forward to continuing our relationships with each of our customers.”

Daniel Campo, president and CEO of Campo Equipment, is ready for the future and shares what this means for Campo and the vision moving forward. “Our customers have rewarded us greatly for listening to them. Our employees and manufacturing team have answered the call, every time, to take care of the customer.  In the past 10 years, we’ve disrupted the industry we service with constant innovation and have become market leaders. The Campo family is humbled and grateful. We now will return the favor by partnering with Airtex, leveraging our synergies to keep providing innovative and profitable heat solutions to the rental industry.”
