Milwaukee promotes Handley to rental position

NewsFeb. 9, 2016 - Milwaukee Tools’ Canadian arm has promoted Reid Handley to territory manager for Milwaukee’s rental channel across Canada. It’s a move made possible by the promotion of Arnie Chabluk, who previously occupied Handley’s new position, to management.
“It’s just a change in the territory responsibility,” said Handley, who started in his new assignment Feb. 1st. “Before this, I was district manager for the Job Site Solutions Team for western Canada… And now I’m taking over rental channel in Canada from Arnie. Arnie will be national sales manager for our hardware division.”
Handley, who has been with the company for seven years, will operate out of Surrey, BC, just east of Vancouver. The company works heavily in conjunction with the distributor Rentquip, who also works out of (is headquartered in?) the Lower Mainland.
The next few months will be busy ones for Handley.
“We’re launching some new tools that will fit in with the rental world,” he said.
Before Milwaukee, Handley worked in retail in the home improvement sector for many years.
“As far as hardware, I’ve been selling tools for over 20 years now,” he said.
