Kubota has introduced two new common rail engines at the World of
Concrete in Las Vegas. The V2403-CR-T and the V2607-CR-T engines, that
both comply with the EPA Tier 4 and EU Stage IIIB emission regulations
effective January 2013. The V2403-CR-T is part of Kubota’s 03 Series
and the V2607-CR-T is part of Kubota’s 07 Series. Both of these engine models are turbo, 4-cylinder and direct injected.

The V2403-CR-T is rated at 48.6 kilowats at maximum speed of 2,700 RPM.
It is also offered at 39.6 kilowatts at 2,200 RPM and 43.2 at 2,400 RPM.
The V2607-CR-T is rated at 53 kilowatts at a maximum speed of 2,700
RPM. The V2607-CR-T is also available at 45 kilowatts at 2,200 RPM and
48 kilowatts at 2,400 RPM. All of the outputs are gross intermittent.

The V2403-CR-T and V2607-CR-T are fully electronic controlled engines
that have common rail fuel system, diesel oxidation catalyst and the
diesel particulate filter. These components have made for a clean high
performing engine that is more fuel efficient, quiet and durable. Kubota
has kept the engine package compact and just slightly larger than the
current models despite the after-treatment components that have been
added.

Kubota’s new V2403-CR-T and V2607-CR-T diesel engines have the proven
reliability and clean performance that customers expect from Kubota.
Kubota’s full engine line up for 2013 will be announced in the near
future.
