General Pipe Cleaners introduces four new power drain cleaners

Mar. 16, 2010 – According to the company, General Pipe Cleaners four new Auto-Feed power drain cleaners blend the best of professional drain cleaners with the rugged reliability of rental machines. All with automatic feeds and open drum designs, the company says the Speedrooter 92R, Metro-RooterR, Mini-Rooter XPR, and Drain-Rooter PHR are easier, cleaner, and faster for your customers to use than manual machines. 

General Pipe Cleaners says the automatic feed makes getting the cable into and out of the drain faster and easier. The variable speed feed drives and retracts cable at up to 20 feet per minute. The power feed and guide tube combination allows the cable to feed smoothly into the line while keeping the operator’s hands clean and away from the spinning cable. 

The open drum design lets you see the condition of the cable after it comes back from rental so you can clean and lubricate it as necessary.  An inner drum cage helps prevent abusive customers from tangling the cable inside the drum, 

The Speedrooter 92R clears roots and other difficult obstructions in 3” to 6” lines with 100 ft. of 5/8” or 3/4” Flexicore cable; the Metro-RooterR and Mini-Rooter XPR carry 50 ft. or 75 ft. of 1/2” Flexicore cable to clear 2” to 4” lines, and the compact Drain-Rooter PHR clears 1-1/4” to 3” sinks, tubs, and laundry drains with up to 50 ft. of 5/16” Flexicore® cable. 

Flexicore cables are made of heavy gauge wire that is coiled tightly around 49-strand aircraft-type wire rope and heat treated.  It has unequalled strength and the right amount of flexibility.  Flexicore carries a one-year warranty against defect or breakage.
