Husqvarna's K 3000 electric cut-n-break.

Husqvarna Construction Products has introduced the new K 3000 Electric Cut-n-Break in response to the company’s successful K650 Cut-n-Break and a growing demand for an electric version for indoor applications.

The K 3000 Electric Cut-n-Break is able to cut in stages through walls up to 16 inches thick. It is ideal for window and door openings, crack chasing, joint repair and much more. A unique sliding guard can be positioned to flush cut and the low water usage system along with a 12V, 15Amp electric motor offers maximum versatility for indoor and outdoor use.

Main features include:

• An upper blade guard that is flexible enough to move out of the way when cutting and is outfitted with rollers at the tip to prevent snagging when cutting brick.
• A wet cutting system keeps water usage at a minimum to supply enough water to suppress dust but not cause excessive slurry.
• The K 3000 Wet, K 3000 Electric and K 3000 Cut-n-Break are equipped with Elgard overload protection and SoftStart for gradual starting.

The Cut-n-Break method is a series of stages through which cutting up to 16 inches is achieved. The first step is tomake a cut up to 2-1/2 inces deep with fast cutting, twin 9 inch blades. The remaining central core is then easily broken off using the accompanying breaking tool. Finally, successive cuts can be made to reach up to 16 inches deep.
