Vermeer hit by tornado

The Pella, Iowa, manufacturing plant of compact equipment manufacturer Vermeer was hit by a tornado yesterday, causing extensive damage and minor injuries. The incident occured as Vermeer was hosting its dealer and customer conference with over 400 attendees in the facility.
