Sudden foreclosure shuts down Stone Construction

March 12, 2012 - Stone Construction Equipment Inc. has closed its doors in Honeoye, N.Y., but it is unclear whether the manufacturing facility will remain closed in the wake of a bank foreclosure and seizure of assets this week.Michael Manikowski of the Ontario County Industrial Development Agency said M&T Bank foreclosed on a note with the company and shut the operation down. Stone's absence from the Canadian Rental Mart was noted, as the company was scheduled to exhibit at the show right up until the day before, when it suddenly pulled out.
