St-Romuald is a historic area of Quebec that still retains its own identity locally, although the town amalgamated with the City of Lévis in 2002. While its shipbuilding and oil refining heritage continue, the community continues to grow. The new store adds to the convenience for SMS customers working on either side of the river.
Located on the main street in St-Romuald, “The new store is visible and very accessible from the bridge or anywhere in Lévis” explains Martineau. The Ste. Foy, and St-Romuald stores complement each other and will work closely with to serve their clients. “We are tied in very closely and that allows us to deliver equipment very quickly throughout the Quebec and Lévis region. A contractor can call either store for equipment and we will ship from the closest yard. For contractors needing to pickup equipment or supplies, the new store will add a level of convenience. We are “Job Ready” on both sides of the river!”
Marcel Langlois, President of SMS Rents, says that the Quebec City area has been underserved until now. St-Romuald is the fifth expansion for SMS Rents in the past 12 months. New stores have opened in the Greater Toronto Area and in Ottawa, while the store in Sudbury, Ontario, relocated to a new, larger facility.
