award - the ROOTY - are now open. Anyone may nominate any Canadian
equipment or event rental company for recognition as Canada's top rental
operator. The award is sponsored by Doosan Portable Power, and will be
presented at the 2014 Canadian Rental Mart on March 18.
Oct. 31, 2013 – Nominations for the 2014 Rental Operator Of The Year award – the ROOTY – are now open. Anyone may nominate any Canadian equipment or event rental company for recognition as Canada's top rental operator. The award is sponsored by Doosan Portable Power, and will be presented at the 2014 Canadian Rental Mart on March 18.
The ROOTY recognizes companies that demonstrate the highest values of the Canadian rental industry: success, innovation and safety. Winners are featured on the cover of Canadian Rental Service magazine, and receive a plaque for display in their place of business.
To nominate a company, visit the Canadian Rental Mart website and click the Nominate Online button in the ROOTY award section. Or, email Canadian Rental Service editor Patrick Flannery (pflannery@annexweb.com) saying who you would like to nominate and why.
Nominations are submitted to a panel of four industry judges to determine a winner. Judges for 2014 are David Fraser of Hewitt Equipment Rentals in Halifax, N.S., Jean-Marc Turcotte of Turbo Rentals in Montreal, Que., Kent Sommerville of Doosan Portable Power in Edmonton, Alta., and Rhonda Pedersen of Pedersen's Event Rentals in Burnaby, B.C.
