Rentquip fights breast cancer

Nov. 8, 2013 – Rentquip has announced it sold 33 Milwaukee Special Edition Breast Cancer Jackets in October to support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation . The rental equipment supplier will be making a donation of $3,300 to the foundation as a result of the promotion.

The Milwaukee Special Edition Heated Breast Cancer Jacket is a 12-volt heated jacket that is styled for women with the breast cancer ribbon on each sleeve and pink pocket zippers. The jacket program was conducted in conjunction with the Breast Cancer Foundation in both the U.S. and Canada. Milwaukee's has donated a large number of mammograms in each country to support the foundation and gain the use of its ribbon symbol.

"As we at Rentquip have grown, we understand the need to give back to the community," said Shawn Parks, Rentquip president, "so we decided to expand on Milwaukee's good work and run a program for the month of October (which is breast cancer month) to sell the jackets and give back 50 per cent of the proceeds to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation."
