Jan. 12, 2016 - An new online service, KWIPPED, has created an Expedia-like online marketplace for consumers and contractors seeking equipment rentals. KWIPPED CEO Robert Preville will give an educational presentation at the Canadian Rental Mart on March 8 at 9:00 a.m. informing Canadian rental operators how they can profit from this innovative new service.
With online marketplaces like Travelocity and Expedia, consumers today are accustomed to shopping, comparing and booking entire trips (including airline tickets, hotel and rental car) with unprecedented efficiency and minimal effort. A once cumbersome process that used to take hours (and sometimes days) of research can now be accomplished in minutes. Based on that same logic, KWIPPED has developed a B2B equipment rental marketplace that connects renters to suppliers and streamlines every aspect of the rental process. While the impact of this marketplace platform may be game changing for many industry verticals (including construction and heavy equipment), the basic concept is really quite simple. Some business need to rent equipment. Other businesses have equipment to rent. KWIPPED technology matches rental need with supply inventory available through a global network of marketplace suppliers.
Preville will discuss the genesis of KWIPPED and how this new marketplace is poised to evolve the process of sourcing and renting equipment.
The KWIPPED presentation is free to Canadian Rental Mart attendees. The Rental Mart education program is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors, Western Financial Group, A.E. Sales, TVH, Doosan, Brandt Tractor and RDSI.
