C&T Rentals & Sales has launched an Event Rental Division led by Kelly Dwyer, daughter of C&T founder, Ed Dwyer. This new division was launched in Winnipeg in April of 2016 and is located at 115 Scurfield Blvd. This newly renovated facility was C&T’s initial general equipment and tool location. C&T Event Rentals offers a variety of high-end event rental products including chairs, tables, dishes, cutlery, linens and more.
Mar. 21, 2017 - Hatz Diesel of America has announced that Eric Hoffmann has been added to its growing staff as Application Engineer. Hoffmann joins the firm from Cummins where he was an application engineer for its diesel engines. His background also includes powertrain control system development and production engineering experience in the OEM/Off-Highway markets along with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. He will provide technical and engineering support to the Hatz Sales Team, Distributors and OEM Customers.
March 20, 2017 - Larry McCourt the former owner of City Rentals passed away March 9. Larry was a long time rental professional who started his career with Capital Equipment back in the late 1970s. Larry was very well liked and respected by his employees, customers, suppliers and competitors in the industry.

The Transactions closed today concurrent with the signing of definitive agreements.

The acquisition expands the application solutions offered by Brokk in the construction and demolition industry. Aquajet Systems specializes in concrete renovation by using extremely high-pressure water jets to remove concrete without harming the underlying rebar or causing microfracturing. Feb. 2, 2017 - Cooper Equipment Rentals in Mississauga, Ont., has purchased 4-Way Equipment Rentals in Edmonton from its parent company, Canadian Equipment Rental Corporation (CERC), for $8.5 million. The acquisition marks Cooper's first foray into the western Canada equipment rental market and leads a strategy to become a national rental organization, according to Cooper CEO, Daryl Cooper.

Jan. 9, 2017 - Yamaha Motor Corp., USA's, Outdoor Power Equipment division has announced the acquisition of Subaru Industrial Power Products. The acquisition is a result of an agreement between parent companies Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., and Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., both of Japan, and is expected to be completed by October 1, 2017. Fuji Heavy Industries is ceasing the production and sale of multi-purpose engines, etc. at the end of September 2017.
