Apr. 30, 2018 - Wacker Neuson hosted its sixth annual Dealer Summit, October 2-4, 2017 in Milwaukee, WI. Over 70 contracted dealerships where represented by 170 attendees from the United States and Canada. The theme of this year’s meeting, Making History, Building the Future, was a culmination of the 2017 anniversary events celebrating 60 years in US and 50 years in Canada. The two-day event set the strategic direction for dealers through 2022, as well as celebrated many of the dealers achievements, raffles, networking, educational seminars and product displays.
Apr. 24, 2018 - Okada America, Inc. has announced the promotion of Jim Brown to the position of President. Brown, who has replaced Tony Neikirk, previously served as the Executive Vice President of Okada America, Inc. being appointed to that position in 2015.

Apr. 12, 2018 - Following a distinguished career spanning nearly 30 years with the company, Caterpillar Inc. announced today that Group President Rob Charter has elected to retire. Since 2015, Charter has been a group president of Customer & Dealer Support (C&DS).
Apr. 12, 2018 - Owing to its growing success in Canada, Kubota Canada Ltd. (KCL) will be moving its operations to a new facility located in Pickering, Ontario, by the end of 2019. As part of KCL's ongoing commitment to deliver high-quality products and top-tier customer service, the new facility will be designed to house its Head Office and Warehouse operations. KCL has continuously operated in Canada from Markham, Ontario, since 1975, and this project marks a new opportunity for the brand.
Jeff Elmquist has joined Centec Corp. as a sales representative for the Greater Toronto Area and north/central Ontario. He brings over 20 years' experience in the construction, landscaping and equipment industries in supervisory and operator roles. 
Mar. 27, 2018 - CASE Construction Equipment has named Michel Marchand as vice president for North America, replacing Scott Harris who has taken a similar role at CASE IH. Marchand, who previously served as the regional sales director for Canada, will now oversee all CASE Construction operations in North America.

Mar. 15, 2018 - United Rentals has announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Matthew Flanneryas president of the company, in addition to his responsibilities as chief operating officer. Michael Kneeland, who became president and chief executive officer of United Rentals in 2008, will continue to lead the company as its CEO.
March 14, 2018 - This name change applies to its full line of power tools, fasteners, accessories and outdoor power equipment products for North America.
Mar. 8, 2018 -  The Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) and Chase Merchant Services (Chase) has announced they have reached an agreement to further support Canadian small business. CFIB members will benefit from exclusive rates on American Express (Amex) transactions.
Rental equipment supplier Atlas Copco has opened a new service centre and storage office in Varennes, Que., a suburb of Montreal, according to national service manager, Tristan Waldock. The new facility measures 8,000 square feet and features an expanded yard. Atlas Copco will hold parts for all its equipment there and dispatch new machine orders and service from the location.
Jan. 23, 2018 - Atlas Copco has agreed to divest its concrete and compaction business to Husqvarna Group’s Construction division.
