Jeff Elmquist joins Centec

Jeff Elmquist has joined Centec Corp. as a sales representative for the Greater Toronto Area and north/central Ontario. He brings over 20 years' experience in the construction, landscaping and equipment industries in supervisory and operator roles. 


Elmquist lives in Cambridge and will be handling a territory including the GTA, north through Barrie and Peterborough and into Sault. Ste. Marie, North Bay and Sudbury. He’s the son of Jerry Elmquist, president of Centec.

“I feel my background in the construction field gives me an advantage,” Elmquist said. “I know how the equipment is going to be used in the field and I know what people in the field need and want to make their jobs easier and safer.” 

Elmquist holds industry certifications including Certified Landscape Technician and Concrete Paver Installer. He has a degree from the University of Guelph in turf management.

Centec Corporation, is a manufacturers’ representative that represents 10 different lines of equipment made for the equipment rental, construction and landscape construction markets including American Cart and Rack, Boxer by Morbark, Cormidi, Heat King, ICS, Lind Equipment, Makinex, Overland, Quest, and ReachMaster.
