April 20, 2012 - Only three years after launch, Legend Rewards has reached 5,000 program participants. A 5,000-point Legend Rewards certificate was sent to recognize the 5,000th registrant, Gavin Dawson of ServiceMaster Clean of Chatham, Ont.

“This is a significant segment of the overall cleaning and restoration
market,” said John Ormsby, president of Dri-Eaz and ProRestore Products.
“We’re very pleased to have identified with such an effective tool to
reward our customers’ loyalty.”

Legend Rewards is a customer loyalty
program for the restoration industry in both the U.S. and Canada. Legend Rewards points are provided
in product boxes or after truckmount registration, based on the value
of the products purchased from Legend Brands companies, including
Dri-Eaz, ProRestore and Sapphire Scientific.

“[I am aware of] no broad-based loyalty program existing in the cleaning and
restoration industry before Legend Rewards,” said Ormsby. “But we had a
hunch that this would be a great way to strengthen and affirm loyalty
for the Legend Brands family of companies.”

The hunch was confirmed almost immediately. Launched in mid-2009, the
program had 500 participants by the end of 2009, then grew to 2,700
participants and 29 million points issued by the end of 2010. By the
close of 2011, more than 59 million total points had been registered by
4,500 program participants.

There are no limits on the amount of points a customer can earn. Many
participants redeem their Legend Rewards for products they can use to
further build their businesses – iPads, GPS units, tools and even Legend
Brands products. A few have used their Legend Rewards points to attend
the Restoration Sciences Academy Restorative Drying 201 (ASD) class.
Points can also be used to “buy” a wide variety of products and services
that can be used to reward top employees – electronics, tools, videos,
books, music, travel packages and cruises.

Participants manage their own points online, using the Legend Rewards
website. New purchases can be registered there,
and point redemptions are conducted online as well, which makes program
participation easy and convenient.
