Little Beaver’s Towable hydraulic earth drill combines safe and powerful drilling with hassle-free operation and transportation. The drill’s balanced frame makes it ideal for today’s aging workforce. The design reduces operating weight by roughly 50 per cent compared to traditional hydraulic drills and it requires less than 20 pounds of force to pivot into digging position. The frame also eliminates torque for safe one-person drilling. The rig can be conveniently transported using a removable “no tools” towing hitch, saving valuable truck or trailer space and making it an economical tool for fence and deck building, sign installation, rental and park-and-recreation departments. The Towable drill’s 11-horsepower Honda engine delivers 22 per cent more power than competitive models. To further boost performance, the unit’s 2,700-psi hydraulic system provides up to 300 foot-pounds of torque with an auger speed of 150 rpm. The Towable’s 34-inch width allows it to easily fit through gates and other tight spaces for drilling in locations inaccessible to skid steers and tractors. Its 16-inch semi-pneumatic tires and auger lock make it easy for one person to manoeuvre the drill around a jobsite and pivot into position without damaging delicate turf or landscapes. For added convenience, the Towable features a two-position handle that rotates 180 degrees to drill near buildings, walls and other structures. Additionally, the drill’s infinitely variable 20-degree auger tilt makes it possible to drill vertically in uneven terrain.

Faster sod cutting
classenturf.com
The Classen HSC18 Pro sod cutter comes in two lengths – 52 or 55 inches – which make it the shortest sod cutter in the industry. The integrated rear swivel wheel ensures ease of turning and can be secured in place for straight-line cutting. This allows the operator to make quick work of cutting sod in tight areas. The HSC18 Pro is one of the fastest models on the market. The Hydro-Gear T2 hydrostatic drive transmission ensures smooth, consistent power flow and its power reverse assists in efficient transportation. The transmission and engine allow the operator to achieve transport speeds as high as 4.7 miles per hour – 35 per cent faster than competitive models. The cutting blade is centered on the bottom of the machine and ensures consistent cutting depth. The blade cuts 20 strokes per second and yields clean, smooth results in half the time of competitive models. In addition, the cutting depth can be adjusted down to 2 1/2 inches. The Pro sod cutter comes standard with an 18-inch cutting blade. Optional blade sizes are available in 12-, 16-, 20- and 24-inch lengths. And the blade is easily replaced, which contributes to minimal downtime.

Split-stream air deflector
billygoat.com
The Little Wonder Optimax blowers, which include eight self-propelled or push models, feature an advanced impeller and aerodynamic design that result in 38 per cent more air movement than competitive blowers. Air speeds range from 143 to 179 miles per hour. The Optimax blowers’ advanced, all-steel impeller design and reverse-angled, seven-blade fan provide maximum airflow. Plus, the scrolled, aerodynamic air inlet maintains constant power and doesn’t clog if leaves are drawn in. A large, square discharge chute rides just two inches off of the ground, resulting in better movement of standing water and stubborn debris. Little Wonder uses an innovative split-stream air deflector on the 25-square-inch discharge chute, which eliminates blow-back and moves debris in one pass. Optimax blower accessories include a tool holder, parking brake and solid front wheel, which add convenience and safety as well as increase durability on challenging terrain.
