Kerr appointed COO of CERF

Sept. 27, 2013 – Wayne Wadley, president of CERF Incorporated , has announced that the board of directors has approved the appointment of David "Skip" Kerr as COO. Kerr has been acting in the position of vice-president of business development for CERF since 2012. CERF is the parent company of 4-Way Rentals in Edmonton, Alta.

Kerr has held various senior management positions in the waste industry since 1983 including seven years with Browning Ferris Industries as divisional vice-president. He then served as western Canada landfill sales manager for Canadian Waste/Waste Management Inc. until 2001. From 2001 until 2004, Kerr was Alberta vice-president for Waste Services Inc. and then served as senior vice-president for Wasteco Environmental Services until 2005. From 2005 until 2012 he provided waste management consulting services to CERF's wholly owned company, MCL Waste Systems and Environmental before joining CERF.
