The
transition of responsibilities started Nov. 1, 2012.
“We have
strengthened the IMT team by elevating two IMT dedicated leaders with extensive
industry experience and product knowledge,” said Jim Hasty, vice president and
general manager of IMT. “Tim and Terry have been instrumental in the success of
IMT, and we are confident that they will drive continued growth and innovation
from their new positions.”
Worman has served
as IMT product manager of commercial vehicles since 2002. He has led the
introduction of new lines of Dominator mechanics trucks and telescopic cranes,
increased air compressor offerings, lube trucks and lube skids featuring
polyethylene tanks. In his newly created role, the 24-year industry veteran
will be responsible for leading IMT growth initiatives by leveraging synergies
within the Oshkosh
family, forming strategic partnerships and working with all functions of the
organization to enlarge innovative product offerings.
“I am excited to have the opportunity to expand the
presence of the leading brand in the service-truck industry,” Worman said.
Cook has
worked at IMT for more than 25 years, gaining invaluable experience with the
company’s products and processes. Before becoming customer satisfaction manager
in 2006, Cook served in a variety of capacities including quality control and
technical support manager, quality supervisor and manufacturing engineer. In
his new position, he will be responsible for leading the company’s line of
commercial products and helping drive business strategy for the segment. He
will also work to develop and enhance the commercial product lineup to meet the
needs of customers across the spectrum of markets that IMT serves. On an
interim basis, Cook will continue to manage the IMT warranty, technical support
and customer service teams.
“I look
forward to this new challenge and continuing to grow IMT,” Cook said. “I am
committed to working closely with our distributors and customers to deliver the
innovative products they have come to expect from IMT.”
