Finning workers approve collective agreement

NewsAugust 4, 2011 - Finning International announced that the hourly
employees of its Canadian division, represented by the International
Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers - Local 692 (IAMAW),
have approved a new four-year collective agreement. The agreement covers
approximately 700 hourly-paid Finning Canada employees in B.C. and
Yukon and expires on April 14, 2015.
This agreement ends the work stoppage in B.C., which began on June
22 and employees are expected to return to work starting August
2, 2011.
The new agreement provides for annual wage increases of 4 per cent in
year one, 3 per cent in years two and three and 4 per cent in year
four.

help customers maximize productivity. Headquartered in Vancouver, B.C.,
