It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Canadian Rental Service Directory for 2010. This directory is an exhaustive compilation of information on the companies that manufacture, supply or distribute an incredibly diverse array of products, materials, tools and machinery for both the equipment and party rental industries. We think you’ll find this guide especially useful, as it is the only one in existence that is focused exclusively on the Canadian rental market.

You can think of this issue as your own personal phone book for Canada’s rental industry. The 2010 Canadian Rental Service Directory allows you to quickly and easily locate a product and a choice of suppliers. Simply look up the item alphabetically in the Index, either under Party Goods or Equipment and Tools, and you will find a corresponding page number. Simply turn to that page, and review the list of suppliers for that item. Once you have chosen a supplier, turn to the Suppliers section for an alphabetical list of company names that includes addresses, websites, telephone and fax numbers. 

The 2010 Canadian Rental Service Directory isn’t just about locating a contact when you want to buy. Numerous contacts are listed for service as well as for sales. In addition, you can see if a supplier sells direct, sells through a distributor or sells direct if there is no distributor in an area. You can also see if a supplier offers co-op advertising, financing, training or promotional materials. There is a legend at the top of each page that will help you match the services to the supplier. You can’t make the right decisions without the right information. We live in a data-rich society, where virtually any information you could possibly desire is literally at your fingertips. All too often, this turns out to be a surplus of riches. How to find the information you’re actually seeking is the challenge we now find ourselves facing.

That’s a big part of the reason we created the 2010 Canadian Rental Service Directory. Sure, it be would be possible to dig out all of this information yourself, but how much digging would you have to do?

Although the information in this publication is also available through Yellow Pages directories and online sources, having it listed in an easy-to-reference guide is much more convenient.
