Oct. 27, 2009 – ECHO (Canada) has announced the opening of a Distribution Centre for Western Canada, effective Dec. 1, 2009. Following an extensive study and analysis to better serve their customers needs, a centralized location in Calgary, Alberta was selected that will allow ECHO Power Equipment (Canada) to provide next day delivery to the maximum number of customers in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Logistically, Calgary was identified as the “future of distribution” for the west and the new facility offers close proximity to the Purolator and WestJet hubs located at the Calgary airport.

According to company President, Ed Zynomirski, “In this competitive market environment we are pleased to offer the future of logistics for providing our customers with increased Value, Integrity and Performance (VIP Service). ECHO Power Equipment (Canada) is confident that this new facility will allow our customers to grow our core brands, including ECHO, Shindaiwa and BearCat.

It will also support the growth of other number one brands that we offer such as BCS, Little
Wonder, Classen, Mantis and Oregon Forestry Products”.
