CRA Ontario wraps up spring meeting schedule

April 19, 2012 – A crowd of 45 members of the Canadian Rental
Association Ontario met April 18 at Location Equipment Supply in Toronto
for the final association meeting of the season. Paul Potvin and his
staff hosted the event.

After a buffet style dinner of chicken parmesan, sliced steak, potatoes,
salad and dessert, Potvin presented a report of how his company
supplies support equipment to the film and movie sets that are shooting
in the Toronto area. This very informative presentation was accompanied
by a slide show and video highlighting some of his work with some very
well known movies.

The supplier presentation was presented by Yves St-Arnaud, sales manager
for Plafolift. He also showed a video and explained some of the key
features and benefits of his scissor lift product.

Paul Everitt from Rentquip Canada (and Canadian Rental Association
director), gave a short presentation on the new date and location for the
Ontario golf tournament. The event is planned for September 11 at
Hawk Ridge Golf Club just outside of Orillia, Ont. This course has
previously hosted a senior's event on the PGA Tour. The price for golf
will be $140 and that includes golf, power cart, lunch and dinner as
well as a prize. The hard cut-off date for accepting registrations is
August 25. Everitt mentioned that hole sponsorships are available for
$150. More details will circulate as the date approaches.

Paul Potvin presented details on a new benefit program available to
members. A customizable company policy manual is available which will
assist companies in communicating policy to employees. This is not an off-the-shelf product as it focuses on rental company needs, policies

Ontario president, Mike Maltby had some closing remarks and wrapped up the meeting at 9:30.
