Sept. 8, 2017 - JLG Industries has announced the X770AJ Compact Crawler Boom has been named one of Equipment Today magazine’s 2017 Contractors’ Top 50 New Products. This recognition is the construction industry’s only award based specifically on end-user input.

The list of Contractors’ Top 50 New Products is compiled based on reader inquiries about new products featured in Equipment Today, along with page views and inquiries on the ForConstructionPros.com portal. Inquiries were tracked over a 12-month period, from May 2016 to April 2017.

According to the publication, winning products represent the leading edge of innovation, quality, efficiency, and productivity and the construction industry’s most favored products. “To compete in today’s market, contractors need the types of features and capabilities these unique and innovative new products have to offer,” said Becky Shultz, Equipment Today editor.

“Earning this recognition underscores the JLG commitment to designing and engineering new products that meet the needs of its customers,” said Paul Kreutzwiser, JLG Industries global category director, aerial work platforms. “The X770AJ is the largest machine in our Compact Crawler Boom line, featuring a working height of 84 feet and industry-leading 500-pound unrestricted capacity, which allows workers to take more materials with them on the platform and increase productivity. This versatile machine also gives operators the ability to go more places thanks to its low profile, non-marking tracks and compact dimensions.”

The 2017 Contractors’ Top 50 New Products was officially announced online at ForConstructionPros.com on Sept. 7 and is featured in the September issue of Equipment Today.
