Apr. 17, 2018 - At the company’s 2018 Rental Summit Allied Vendor Fair and Reception, Cat Rental Stores have named Genie, a Terex brand, as the Cat Rental Store 2017 Vendor of the Year. The criteria for the award are quality, product support and policy, ease of doing business and overall vendor satisfaction. This is the first year the Cat Rental Store Vendor of the Year award has been given.
Apr. 4, 2018 - Linamar Corporation’s Skyjack division has started delivering off-the-line machines equipped with ELEVATE, their telematics solution for off-highway fleets, and BlueLine Rental is their North American launch customer. This new telematics solution has already started to see its way into construction rental yards on a variety of Skyjack equipment.

Feb. 6, 2018 - Manitowoc Cranes has appointed Mi-Jack Canada as the newest dealer of Manitowoc and Grove cranes in Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada. The Leduc, Alberta-based company offers full sales, rental purchase options, aftermarket parts and service support in both provinces. The move strengthens Manitowoc’s dealer network in the region.
Western Canada Lift Supply is a new provider of new and used lift equipment based in Vancouver, B.C. The company was launched this month by John Adcock, formerly of Leavitt Machinery. Western Canada Lift will represent major manufacturers for new lift sales and carry a variety of used equipment for sale and re-rental across B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Jan. 23, 2018 - Manitex International has announced that it has finalized new orders totaling 42 Manitex cranes from Cropac Equipment, Inc. headquartered in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. The new orders will be used for retail sales and rental fleet needs across Canada, which now includes Cropac’s expanded territory of British Columbia.

Dec. 8, 2017 - The Board of Directors of Manitou BF, in their meeting on Dec. 5 at the headquarters of the Company, decided unanimously to renew the mandate of Mr. Michel Denis as President & CEO of Manitou for a further period of 4 years until the Annual General Assembly in 2022 that will approve the financial statements of 2021.
Nov. 28, 2017 - Genie invites customers to ask questions and get answers about operator training for aerial work platforms (AWPs), or mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs), during its upcoming “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) event, December 4-8, 2017. On Monday, December 4th, Genie will post an AMA prompt on the Genie® Aerial Pros AMA Event page, as well as will be shared on social media simultaneously, to garner questions. The post will stay open, or “live,” for questions and comments through Friday, December 8th. The goal of this fourth Genie AMA event is to educate customers on how the new CSA B354 and proposed ANSI A92 standards in North America will impact aerial operator training.
