Commercial vacuums

These vacuums include a number of customer- and end-user-desired
features, including worker-friendly ergonomics, quiet operation and
functions that save time and enhance efficiency. Additionally, all
upright and backpack models are designated by the Carpet and Rug
Institute as Green Label approved, the standard in green cleaning.

Backpack vacuums
Rubbermaid’s backpack vacuums have a number of labour-saving features
that allow them to double productivity versus using a standard upright
vacuum.  The seven-piece, on-board tool kit virtually eliminates trips to the
supply cupboard and allows workers to vacuum an area thoroughly in a
single pass. These lightweight units have a narrow profile to improve
mobility, and the ergonomic harness with padded hip and shoulder straps
reduce body strain and minimize heat transfer from the machine to the
operator.  All three backpack units are designed to operate quietly,
making them ideal for day cleaning in busy areas such as offices, health
care facilities, schools, and hospitality and entertainment facilities.

Upright vacuums
The line-up of seven different upright vacuums means there is a vacuum
that is right for every carpet and hard surface need.  Models range from
the UltraLight 12 model that weighs less than 5 kg to the high-tech
PowerHeight model with height adjustments that occur automatically as
the operator moves from one surface to another. All uprights have
large outboard wheels for easy maneuvering and improved stability and
each model can be easily positioned with the handle flat to the floor
for cleaning under furniture. 

Wet/dry vacuums
The 12.5-gallon and 16-gallon wet/dry vacuums include HEPA filtration
system and are built to handle the toughest cleaning challenges.  They
are designed with a two-tank system to keep dry debris separate from
liquids inside the vacuum.  An exterior switch allows the user to change
from dry cleaning to wet and back again with a flick of the switch. 
The durable cart has large, 8-inch wheels for easy maneuvering.  With a 1.9 HP motor and 110 CFM of air flow these vacuums are best for areas where
spills are common or moisture can be an issue.
