March 13, 2013 – The Canadian Rental Association has announced it will be stepping up its campaign to promote rental awareness in the general public with a National Rental Awareness Week this spring. The event is still in the planning stages and CRA directors are inviting members to come forth with their ideas and help.

"The CRA has been successful in generating significant media attention across Canada through a strategic public relations campaign this year," said CRA president, Jeff Campbell. "Coverage has included daily newspaper hits across B.C., as well as newspaper and radio broadcast coverage in Ontario. Moving into 2013, our marketing and public relations efforts will include member driven story angles, new store openings, anniversary celebrations and more. We are looking to target markets in Quebec, Manitoba and beyond. "

More information will be released to members over the course of the next few weeks through direct e-mail.
