Mid-Michigan manufacturer Bandit Industries has inked a distribution agreement with Hepburn Enterprises. Located in
Winnipeg, Hepburn serves customers throughout Manitoba and Central Canada. Bandit continues to experience rapid
growth, adding three new dealer locations to the North American market in the
first quarter of 2013. In the past 24 months, the company has nearly doubled
sales volume while adding 180 employees and 24 new dealers in the United States
and Canada.

“Having
qualified dealers committed to our products—and to providing our customers with
the best possible parts and service support—was a key to our record sales year
in 2012,” said Bandit Industries president Jerry Morey. “Our dealers are
continuing to contribute greatly to our growth as we move through the first quarter
of 2013. We have invested considerable resources over the past two years to
both improve and expand our dealer network, and our customers have really
noticed. Bandit has never been so well represented, not just in the United
States and Canada, but around the world. I can’t think of a better way to start
our 30th year in business.”

Bandit’s
newest dealers will serve customers in northern Florida, southern Florida and central
Canada. All will carry Bandit’s line of hand-fed wood chippers and stump grinders
in addition to complete parts and service support. The locations will also
carry Zenith chipper knives and Revolution stump grinder cutting systems
available for most major chipper/stump grinder makes and models.

“Our dealers are supported by several
in-house and factory field representatives that regularly travel to assist in
sales, parts and service training,” said Morey. “In addition, we hold dealer
meetings every three years at our company headquarters to cover in-depth
training on equipment operation and service. Our last meeting was in 2011, but
with our explosive growth and wear parts partnerships with Zenith Cutter and
New River Equipment, we will be holding a special dealer meeting later this
year. That meeting will focus on providing even better sales, parts and service
support for our customers.”

The latest
additions take Bandit to over 100 dealer locations in North America, and over 160
locations worldwide. With the continuing success of Bandit wood processing
equipment around the world, new dealer prospects are continually being
evaluated for further expansion.

“We are very
grateful for the hard work our dealers do in representing Bandit and serving
our customers,” said Morey. “It’s not enough to just have a good product. We
have built a reputation over the last 30 years for taking care of our
customers, and that would be impossible to do without a strong dealer network.
We will continue to provide ongoing support for our current dealers as we
expand, working with them and our customers to continually improve the Bandit
ownership experience.”
