Nov 16. 2009, Long Beach, Ca. – Howard Tabackman has been appointed as the new Executive Vice President at Anza Tent Rentals, a subsidiary of Choura Venue Services.

For Ryan Choura, CEO of Choura Venue Services, this is the “icing on the cake” for a pretty extraordinary year.

“Our goal over the past couple of years has been to dramatically revamp both our company’s style and the client’s overall experience," says Choura. Bottom line we wanted to earn the right to be heard by bringing new ideas to the event market place and execute those ideas as event experts. It has been my dream to attract the very best talent to our team, and finally we’re in the place to do just that. I couldn’t be more honoured than to welcome Howard Tabackman and look forward to his energy and commitment to excellence.”

Howard Tabackman began his career in the event industry in 1979 with Abbey Rents. In 1983 he joined Aztec Tents & Events of Torrance where he quickly rose to Vice President of Sales. He was instrumental in building the company from a small mom and pop local operation to a nationally renowned event and tent rental company. In 2005, when Classic Party Rentals acquired Aztec, Tabackman was integral to the transition of the new company, resulting in expansion of additional growth from coast to coast in high profile national events.

Tabackman’s reputation for excellence in event management spans a diverse client mix that includes sporting events, corporate and social events, national and local festivals and fairs, as well as internationally famed Hollywood award shows and galas.
