Feb. 4, 2015 - Acklands-Grainger is hosting "The Works," Canada's largest maintenance repair and operations (MRO) and safety show, held this week at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

In its ninth year, "The Works" brings together more than 4,000 members of the Canadian business community, manufacturers of MRO products and Acklands-Grainger team members.  Show attendees will hear the latest on product innovation and industry trends, and learn about strategies for reducing operating costs and enhancing productivity.

"Acklands-Grainger partners with customers to provide strategic, operational, product and safety support that helps them save time and money," said Dean Johnson, President of Acklands-Grainger.  "This event brings to life our commitment to customers through sharing, showcasing and learning. It is our opportunity to enhance our partnerships with industry leaders, suppliers, customers and team members."

A highlight of this year's show is a 9,000 sq. ft. factory-themed pavilion that showcases nearly 500 different products and illustrates how businesses across the country can leverage eCommerce capabilities and inventory management solutions to save time and money in buying and managing their MRO purchases.

In addition to the pavilion and product expo, the company will host a variety of seminars to share information and industry best practices in areas related to effectively managing MRO costs, creating a world-class safety culture and driving business performance through sustainability efforts.
