May 2, 2015 - This week marks OSHA’s annual National Fall Prevention Stand-Down efforts to raise awareness of work at height best practices in construction applications. This year, the agency’s goal is to reach 5 million workers — and Genie has made the commitment to help OSHA meet that goal.

For 50 years, Genie has changed the market and set industry standards for safe use and operation of aerial lift equipment, and the effort of “Building the Future” never ends. To help OSHA spread its message, Genie will be actively promoting safety initiatives this week on its education site, Genie® Aerial Pros, on its social media channels, and through giveaways of licenses for Genie Lift Pro™ Online Operator Training.

To stay connected to Genie’s safety initiatives, visit Genie Aerial Pros at aerialpros.genielift.com, via genielift.com or through social media pages: Facebook (GenieLift), Twitter (@GenieLift), LinkedIn (Genie Industries), Google+ (GenieInd) and Instagram (@genie_lift).

How can you participate and spread the message of safety? Share your Stand-Down stories on social media, tagging #genielift and #StandDown4Safety.
