May 10, 2016 - Featuring a 120-hp, turbocharged Tier 4 final Cummins QSF3.8 diesel engine, the new Terex® Generation 2 (GEN2) R350T and R350T Forestry compact track loaders offer operators powerful productivity and quick cycle times.

Boasting 360 ft-lb of peak engine torque, high-flow auxiliary hydraulics, a high-capacity cooling system and a two-speed hydrostatic drive system that allows travel speeds up to 10 mph, these models are ideal for demanding site preparation, construction, infrastructure development and demolition applications, including brush cutting, mulching, cold planing and more. Engineered with a radial lift path — meaning the loader arms raise in an arc pattern — these new Terex compact track loaders also excel at digging and grading applications.

Based on proven designs and engineering, Terex GEN2 loaders are aimed at increasing machine performance through additional ROC and loader breakout forces, while increasing the machine’s durability and reliability in the field, which reduces the cost of ownership during the life of the loader. The power, engine horsepower, bucket breakout force and axle torque of Terex GEN2 loaders contribute to these machines’ unparalleled lift capability and pushing force. These attributes combined mean that Terex GEN2 loaders are able to handle heavier loads with faster cycle times than competitive brands, enabling operators to get more work done in a day.

Designed for maximum productivity, the R350T loader has an operating weight of 11,265 lb, a tipping load of 10,100 lb, a 3,535-lb rated operating capacity (at 35% tipping load capacity) and a lift height of 125 in. To tackle tough forestry jobsite conditions, the R350T Forestry unit has an operating weight of 12,255 lb, a tipping load of 10,700 lb — with a 3,745-lb operating capacity at 35% tipping load capacity — and a lift height of 125 in. Engineered with a narrow 6-ft profile, 15-in ground clearance and low ground pressure — 4.4 psi on the R350T unit and 4.3 psi on the R350T Forestry model, these Terex loaders work well in limited access areas, as well as on soft or sensitive surfaces, with minimal damage or impact.

For exceptional ride comfort and traction, the new R350T and R350T Forestry loaders feature an advanced undercarriage system suspended from the chassis of the machine by torsion axles. These torsion axles are independent so there are multiple levels of suspension points connecting the chassis to the undercarriage. This design allows the bogie wheels on these models to flex, creating a smooth ride and taking away much of the vibration and shock associated with running over rocks, curbs and other rough terrain. Terex GEN2 compact track loaders, including the new R350T and R350T Forestry models, utilize a proprietary all-rubber track, rather than a rigid track technology with steel embedded tracks mounted on an existing skid steer chassis. With this system, these compact track loaders to achieve more traction and higher flotation so operators can make full use of the machine’s higher travel speeds. By utilizing composite materials rather than a steel skeleton, Terex tracks do not corrode or rust.

The Terex R350T and R350T Forestry loaders are also designed with front-mounted quick-connect hydraulic fittings and an electronic connector for control of attachments, allowing them to use industry-standard attachments. These models are also equipped with pilot-operated joystick controls and a comfortable operator station for easy operation. On models equipped with heat or AC, a pressurized and sealed enclosed cab comes standard.
