Sept. 29, 2008, Toronto - Toromont Industries recently acquired the assets of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario-based Mid-Canada Rentals. Battlefield Equipment Rentals, a division of Toromont Industries, has assumed operating control of the company, which will function as a Cat Rental Store along with the rest of Battlefield's rental facilities. The existing staff will remain with the company. Battlefield Equipment Rentals, No. 23 on the RER 100, now has 35 branches.
