Echo introduces PB-770 Backpack Blower, BRD-280 Bed Redefiner
 pb770
The PB-770 from Echo Power Equipment.

Jan. 28, 2010 – According to Echo Power Equipment, the PB-770 Backpack Blower will set the standard for power, comfort and durability in 2010.  Featuring a 63.3 cc Power Boost Tornado engine, this blowers is 2.4 lbs. lighter than the PB755. It offers significantly increased performance, commercial dual stage, side mounted air filter, and posi–loc pipes with an integrated anti static system. In addition, the frame and straps have been redesigned for unmatched comfort.

However, the most significant improvement is the re-designed fan system that actually cools the operator’s back.

Also introduced by the company is the BRD-280 Bed Redefiner. Every landscaper knows that bed edges erode over time and need redefining. The old way was to use a shovel, but it is tough, time-consuming work. According to the company, the  BRD-280 cuts a crisp beveled groove, leaving a professional, manicured look.

It features ECHO’s performance class 280 series, 28.2cc engine. Similar to a wheeled edger, the primary difference is in the lower end, the gearbox and cutter. The gearbox is 90 degrees with a flex drive straight shaft. The cutting claw is manufactured from high-grade steel with specially designed carbide tips on each cutter for improved durability and performance and has a unique scraper fin that reduces clogging.
