New line of Electric Eel drain cleaning machines

The new line from Electric Eel.

Jan. 4, 2010 – Electric Eel has introduced a new line of drain cleaning machines featuring auto cable feed. The line consists of four models, each of which feature auto cable feed that advances and retrieves cable with the push of a lever.

Other features include cable guides that keep hands off rotating cable for added safety, and open cages that allow quick cable inspection and cleaning. The company says these features will make the machines more user-friendly for contractors and homeowners alike.

The Model RF cleans 3” – 6” diameter lines and runs either 5/8” or 3/4” diameter “Tri-Max” inner core cable (the toughest cable in the industry) in lengths up to 100 ft.

The Model Z5-AF cleans 1¼” – 3” lines up to 100 ft.  Runs 1/2” galvanized aircraft wire inner core cable.

The Model E-AF cleans 1¼” – 3” lines up to 50 ft.  Inner drum eliminates cable buckling in the cage.

The Model CT cleans 3/4” – 2½” lines up to 50 ft.  Unique variable speed motor feature gives operator maximum control.

Electric Eel Mfg., based in Springfield, Ohio since 1939, produces a full line of drain and sewer cleaning machines including sectional units, drum machines, jetters and pipeline inspection systems. For more information, please visit www.electriceel.com.
