The Canadian Rental Mart takes place at the Toronto Congress Centre on March 9 and 10. Paladin Construction Group formed Feb. 18, 2010 – Paladin Brands has announced the joining of its Paladin Light Construction and Paladin Heavy Construction companies to form Paladin Construction Group. According to an official statement, the new company can better address the attachment trends today that are being driven by contractors and farmers serving a wide variety of construction, agriculture and related market segments in North America and globally. Morbark converts to urethane industrial coating Feb. 18, 2010 – The exterior paint on Morbark equipment is changing. The company recently converted to Morthane, a two component urethane industrial topcoat with a two component urethane primer, for a complete chemically-cured coating system. Hilti introduces new gas saws, breaker, at The Rental Show  Feb. 16, 2010 – Hilti took the opportunity presented by The Rental Show in Orlando, Fla., to introduce several new products geared to the equipment rental business. The new products are the Hilti DSH 700 and DSH 900 hand held gas saws, and the Hilti TE 1500-AVR Breaker.Snorkel upgrades trailer mounted scissor lift Feb. 14, 2010 – Snorkel has unveiled the XT24SD, a unique solution to working at height. The Snorkel XT24SD combines the transport benefits of a trailer-mounted lift with the performance and manoeuvrability of a self-propelled aerial work platform. It is light enough to be easily towed by most saloon cars, or light commercial vehicles - and can be driven from the platform like a conventional scissor lift. The courses will provide service technicians with an interactive way to learn about troubleshooting and repairing Genie booms and scissors to develop their confidence and technical ability. ECHO launches new power pruner, curved shaft trimmer  Feb. 12, 2010 – ECHO has announced the launch of two new products: the PPT-280 Power Pruner, and the GT-230 Curved Shaft Trimmer.Four new Genie booms offer increased capacity  Feb. 12, 2010 – In an effort to increase operator productivity, Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), a business segment of the Terex Corporation (NYSE:TEX), will now offer four new Genie telescopic boom models that provide greater platform capacity within a restricted outreach as a standard feature. The four new models: the Genie S-60X, the S-60XC, the S-60 Trax, and the S-80X will feature restricted platform capacities up to 1,250 lbs, the highest in the industry.
