Infotech Enterprises executive named to AEM board of directors
 Dec. 09, 2010 – The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has named Tony Hughes of Infotech Enterprises to the AEM Board of Directors. Hughes is Senior Account Manager-Strategic Accounts for the company. Hughes is also the 2011 Chair of AEM’s Associate Member Group.
Hyundai selects DPL asset monitoring solution
 Dec. 8, 2010 - DPL America has signed with Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas as its exclusively endorsed provider of aftermarket telemetry products. This endorsement makes DPL America’s Titan Equipment Monitoring System available through all Hyundai dealerships across the United States, Canada and Latin America.
PrimeSource to buy Langtry
Dec. 7, 2010 – PrimeSource Canada has agreed to acquire Langtry Industries. The deal is expected to be finalized by the middle of this month. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
John Deere completes fifth consecutive year of record earnings
Dec. 6, 2010 – John Deere has recently released its Q4 earnings. The company earned $345 million (EPS $0.81) in Q4. Despite the global economic downturn, decreased consumer confidence and spending, and declines in home sales, John Deere’s global net sales and revenue increased 21 percent to $7.401 billion for Q4.

Date set for IRE 2011 rental exhibition
 Dec. 2, 2010 – The second International Rental Exhibition (IRE) will be held at the RAI exhibition centre in Amsterdam on June 7, 8 and 9, 2011.

AEM updates mower safety manual
 Dec. 1, 2010 – The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has extensively updated its industrial/agricultural mower safety manual – both the English only and Spanish/English versions. Types of equipment covered include rotary, folding wing rotary, flail, boom and sickle bar mowers as well as disc mowers, disc mower conditioners and self-propelled windrowers. The AEM "disc mower" manual is now obsolete.
