The company says it features an innovative and completely original design, with the engine being lightweight, yet rugged and powerful enough for demanding mower applications, and is also designed for use on a variety of other vertical-shaft engine applications. Subaru’s EA175V is the first to bring chain-driven overhead cam (OHC)
technology to the small, air-cooled, vertical shaft engine market. New 712MT Micro Trencher from Barreto  Dec. 29, 2010 – Barreto has introduced the new 712MT Micro Trencher. The 712MT features an all new wheel drive propulsion system, utilizing a load sensing hydraulic valve that adjusts the trenching wheel speed to the load on the digging chain. When the load on the digging chain increases, the sensing valve sends
less oil to the wheel drive motor and wheel speed will automatically
slow down.
Case to launch new lines at World of Concrete Dec. 29, 2010 – Case Construction Equipment has announced that it will launch several new lines at World of Concrete 2011. World of Concrete takes place January 18 - 21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Case has indicated that it will introduce a new line of wheel loaders and a new line of excavators. In addition, the company has announced that it will officially launch the Case Community Challenge. Solutions By Computer's Enfinity Release 3.0 to launch with new customer-facing capabilities Dec. 23, 2010 – Solutions by Computer (SBC) has announced plans to unveil the latest Enfinity for Windows software developments for the rental industry at The Rental Show in Las Vegas in February. According to SBC, Enfinity Release 3.0 introduces a range of rental-savvy features that ensure convenience and accuracy during the customer service process. AEM releases annual outlook report Dec. 16, 2010 –The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) is predicting modest upticks in business through 2013 in the organization’s just-released construction equipment business outlook survey. Canadian business overall is expected to be 8.2 percent higher in 2010 than the previous year, and record gains of 12.0 percent in 2011, 14.8 percent in 2012 and 12.7 percent in 2013. L.B. White acquired by partnership Dec. 15, 2010 – L.B. White has announced that it has been acquired by a group consisting of Jeff Diermeier, Rick Diermeier and Kevin Gagermeier. This acquisition includes L.B. White, PSI Heating Systems and two sister companies that make up Hospitality International, LLC; La Crosse and Carroll Chair Company. Hy-Cor expands, offers several new lines  Dec. 14, 2010 – Hy-Cor is pleased to announce the company is expanding again due to customer support.
