Swisher named CEO of Texada Oct. 28, 2010 – Texada Software has announced that William Swisher, chairman of the company, has been named CEO, effective immediately. In connection with his appointment as CEO, Swisher will purchase 2 million common shares at 10 cents per share and has been granted a million options to purchase common shares at that price for a period of 10 years. Toromont announces quarterly dividend Oct. 23, 2010 – Toromont Industries has announced the regular quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share on outstanding common shares, payable January 4, 2011 to shareholders of record on December 13, 2010. United Rentals announces Q3 2010 results Oct. 22, 2010 — United Rentals has announced financial results for the third quarter 2010. Total revenue was $605 million, compared with $592 million for the same period last year, and rental revenue was $507 million, compared with $478 million for the same period last year. Operating income was $93 million, compared with $67 million for the same period last year. |
