This year, two members of Canada's rental industry will receive awards. Banquet Sponsorships still available Jan. 11, 2010 – Although the list is filling quickly, sponsorship opportunities are still available for the official banquet at the Canadian Rental Mart. Seminars, social events add value to the Canadian Rental Mart  Jan. 11, 2010 – Two seminars are planned for the Canadian Rental Mart, taking place March 9 – 10 at the Toronto Congress Centre. The session will be lead by Suzanne Price, the program co-ordinator of Pre-Media/Media & Communications Fundamentals at Seneca College.Buchanan Rubber joins Canadian Rental Mart  Jan. 11, 2010 – The Canadian Rental Mart continues to grow, with the addition of Buchanan Rubber to the exhibitor list. The Canadian Rental Mart is the industry’s most important trade show, and will take place March 9-10 at the Congress Centre in Toronto.

The headquarters hotel for the Canadian Rental Mart will be the world-renowned Doubletree International Plaza Hotel at the Toronto Airport. Free stickers help promote aerial safety Jan. 11, 2010 – AWPT, Inc., the American Work Platform Training subsidiary of IPAF (the International Powered Access Federation), has announced the availability of free stickers that, when placed on an aerial work platform (AWP) or mast climbing work platform (MCWP), ask the operator if they have been properly trained in the operation of the equipment. The Equipment Corps is located in Hamilton, Ont. Mustang unveils new website Jan. 5, 2010 – Mustang has announced the launch of a new public website, www.mustangmfg.com. The site offers many new features, including detailed product information, photo galleries, detailed parts and service information and a robust dealer locator. Revised schedule for The Rental Show Jan. 4, 2010 – A revised schedule for The Rental Show in Orlando, Fla., has been released. Educational seminars will take place on the mornings of Feb. 9-10, before the trade show floor opens.
